How To Make Bone Broth For dogs

Step 1

Roast: Place bones in an oven-safe casserole dish. Roast for about 1 hour at 450°F (232°C), or until bones are browned.

Step 2

Simmer: Transfer bones and juices into slow cooker. Cover with 12 cups of water and stir in apple cider vinegar. Cook on low 12 hours.

Step 3

Strain: Strain bones from the broth and discard (DO NOT feed the bones to your dog).

Step 4

Skim: Cool and skim the fat off the top of your broth and discard (the main nutrients are in the broth, not the fat!)
